Gits Mix - Medu Vadai 200 g Carton/nAbout the Product Gits Instant Medu Vada Mix to create vadas that are just right: crunchy and golden on the outside, soft and yummy on the inside. Vada as it is called is a typical South Indian dish. It is completed from black gram dal which is a lentil. A vada is classically shaped like a doughnut. /nIngredients Urad dal flour, Wheat flour, Bakery Shortening (Palmolein oil, sesame oil), Salt, Sodium bicarbonate (E500(ii)), Citric acid E330, Asafoetida powder and permitted anti-oxidant. /nHow to Use 1. Mix in water. 1. Mix contents of this pack with 220ml water to form a soft dough. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Tip: For spicier taste, add chopped ginger, green chillies & coriander leaves to the dough. 2. Divide the dough into 18 parts. Mold each part into a doughnut shape. Add a little water, if required. 3. Heat 500ml oil in a deep pan. Oil temperature should be such that pinch of dough rises quickly to the surface. Deep fry the Medu vadas on medium heat till crispy and golden brown.
